Children and Cadets
Dear Sirs,
On behalf of the Taekwondo club HEREYA and the Bulgarian Taekwondo Federation - WTF, I am proud to invite You and Your athletes to participate in the "2nd International Hereya Open" for Children and Cadets 2012 which will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, on 28 April 2012.
We guarantee high quality organization and competition in order to guarantee high level transparency, fair play & impartiality for the athletes.
Please be advised that in the competition will take part the Balkan champion for 2011 and also Gold medalist from "Ters Lale Edirne Open 2011" and Gold medalist "6th Ters Lale Edirne Open 2012" (Vladimir Glavchev cadets male -33kg), the champion from "Trelleborg Open 2012" and Silver medalist from "Zagreb Open 2011" (Tzvetelina Nikolova cadets female -44kg), the Bronze medalist from "Germany Open 2012", Silver medalist from "Trelleborg Open 2012" and Silver medalist from the "39th Dutch Open 2012", and Silver medalist from the "Balkan Championship 2011", and Silver medalist from the "33rd Belgium Open 2012", and Gold medalist from "6th Ters Lale Edirne Open 2012" (Hristina Stoeva cadets female -44kg), Silver medalist from "Belgium Open 2012", the Bronze medalist from "Zagreb Open 2011" (Sotir Dimitrov cadets male -37kg) and many other.
As Electronic Body Protectors from DAEDO is officially recognized from WTF it will be used for the Kyorugi competition for Cadets.

V. METHOD OF THE COMPETITION
Single Elimination Tournament System
VI. EQUIPMENT
Fights will be realized with DAEDO electronic trunk protector for cadets (class A). The competitors must bring their own electronic DAEDO foot sensor socks.
Participant Teams must bring their own equipments (headdress guard, shank and arm guard, tooth protector, etc.) for personal use.
Children and Cadets are obliged to use tooth protector.
VII. CONTESTANTS
i. Categories
Children male and female (Class A and B)
Cadets male and female (Class A and B)
Please be advised that Class B means that head kicks are not allowed.
ii. Age
Children: born in 2001 and younger
Cadets: born in 1998, 1999 and 2000
iii. Weight Categories
Children male and female -21kg, -23kg, -25kg, -27kg, -29kg, -31kg, -33kg, -36kg, -40kg, -44kg, -48kg, +48kg
Cadets male -33 kg, -37kg, -41kg, -45kg, -49kg, -53kg, -57kg, -61kg, -65kg, +65 kg
Cadets female -29kg, -33kg, -37kg, -41kg, -44kg, -47kg, -51kg, -55kg, -59kg, +59kg
NOTE: Players will fight in only one age category and one weight category.
VIII. FIGHT TIMING
Children Class A – 2 x 1.5min. with 30 sec. break
Children Class B – 2 x 1 min. with 30 sec. break
Cadets Class A – 3 x 1.5 min. with 30 sec. break
Cadets Class B – 2 x 1.5 min. with 30 sec. break
NOTE: Organization Committee has the right to make changes of the Fight Timing, in case of high participation.
IX. TIME TABLE
Registration & Weigh-in: 15:00 – 21:00 (local time) for all competitors in the competition hall.
Changes of weight divisions after the weight-in are allowed. Cost of changing after the deadline 23 April 2012: 10 EUR for each modification
Competition day:
09:00 – 09:30 Referees meeting
09:30 - 19:00 Children & Cadets
Drawing of lots will be done after the weigh-in. The applications can be sent by e-mail i.dimitrov@taekwondo-bulgaria.org untill 23.04.2012.

XI. AWARDS
The first four winners of each category will be awarded with medals and certificates
First 3 teams in Children (Class A only) will be awarded by a cup.
First 3 teams in Cadets (Class A only) will be awarded by a cup.
The most technical competitor in Children will be awarded by a cup.
The most technical competitor in Cadets will be awarded by a cup.
XII. PARTICIPATION FEE
20 EUR
Participation fee should be paid by the Registration.
XIII. ACCOMMODATION AND TRANSPORTATION

XIV. LIABILITY
All competitors participate at their own risk. The organizers or the BTF - WTF shall not accept responsibility for any damages, injuries or losses sustained or incurred.
XV. PARTICIPANT’S DOCUMENTS
All participants will show their passports during weigh-in to the referee.
